Sink

This communal laundry sink covered in cobwebs, grime and a months supply of washing powder had been blocked for over a year.

The bulk of the debris was removed with a hepa-filter vacuum. The blockage was removed from the pipe and the sink was rinsed with a disinfectant.

With a stainless steel scrubber the sinks are then scrubbed with a polish until back to sparkling.

Unattended Death

The deceased was not found for over a month in the middle of summer. Advance decomposition resulted in body fluid contaminating the entire bathroom and bedroom entrance.

After 7 hours of meticulous decontamination a ozone machine was installed for 24hrs to remove the odor.

Mass Filth

Shattered glass, half full beer bottles and rotten food amongst other rubbish is littered throughout the entire house. The main area being the living room.

All bottles are recycled. The rest of the rubbish is disposed of and a hole in the wooden flooring is exposed. Wood filler and putty are then used to fill in the hole.

Hoarder/Car Filth Clean

1) The bulk of the rubbish was removed and bagged for disposal.

2) The car was vacuumed to remove remaining debris.

3) A upholstery foam is applied to remove stubborn stain and dirt, as well as a first wipe over of the entire interior. This step is repeated until clean and no odour is present.

Unattended Death

1) Mattress with body fluids from a 3-month unattended death scene. Contaminated parts of the mattress are cut away and bagged for biohazardous waste disposal, along with the bed slats, carpet and underlay.

2) A dark red stain is visible where the body fluids have absorbed into the porous concrete surface.  A enzyme detergent and stiff bristle brush is used to provide an intial clean followed by a hydrogen peroxide solution being applied and vigrious scrubbing with a pumice stick.

3) The surface is rinsed and wiped clean. Step 2 is repeated as necessary until the stain is removed.

4) The concrete became discoloured and required a coat of paint
